Developed the System-in-Package strategy and the vision of “More than Moore” as a new strategic direction for Philips.

Research topics included high-frequency passive integration, RF MEMS, bulk acoustic wave filters, RF-ID technology, polymer electronics, micro-fluidic and micro-electromechanical devices, magnetic sensors, biosensors, battery technology, autonomous devices.
1991- 1995 Project management and research of integration of passive components for high frequency applications.
1986 – 1990 Research on epitaxial SiGe semiconductors, vacuum epitaxy, materials physics.
1982 – 1986 PhD in Physics University of Nijmegen Dissertation: Scanning Tunnelling Microscopy
